The nose has smokey bacon crisps, pine furniture and a little lemon. The mouthfeel is thin and a little astringent. The body has vanilla, bacon fat, lemon drizzle and a hint of florality. The finish is sweet - vanilla and lemon.
Water brings out expanding, thin and short-lived whorling. The nose gains a little herbal note, and some mint. The body is less bacon fat and more sweet vanilla and lemon. The finish is unchanged.
A superb peated dram for a warm summer's day.
