The nose has toffee, honeycomb, oak still dripping with bourbon and a hint of lavender. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has creosote, beeswax, toffee, and cinnamon. The finish has cinnamon and toffee.
Water brings out thick whorling that rapidly dissipates. The nose gains the creosote from the unwatered body, and loses the lavender. The body gains vanilla, cloves and hints of oranges. The finish gains cloves.
A beast of a dram. One for winter's depths.
