68.30 - Charry Charry Bang bangThe nose has lemon, kiwi fruit, fresh oak and hints of cherry. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has kiwi fruit, fresh oak, and hints of raspberry syrup. The finish has fresh oak and kiwi fruit.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains more kiwi fruit and fresh oak, and loses some of the lemon and all of the cherry. The body gains cherry and more fresh oak. The finish gains cherry.

A simple dram, but not unattractive.

One for summer afternoons.

Technical score: 3.5/5

Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
