26 years old, distilled 15th June 1990, 58.2% abv, Second-Fill Ex-Sauternes Hogshead, 120 bottles

The nose has toffee, pineapple, and hints of Calvados. The mouthfeel is slim with a little cling. The body has coconut, pineapple, pipe tobacco and then a chilli hit (not too hot). The finish is pineapple and coconut.

Water brings out thick whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose now has more toffee, less Calvados. The body has less of the chilli, more of the pipe tobacco and notes of orange sweetness. That orange sweetness continues into the finish.

A decent dram for after dinner.
