11 years old, distilled 7th September 2004, 61.3% abv, First-Fill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 186 bottles

The nose has pineapple chews, bananas and a hint of orange Fruit Gums. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has more of the pineapple, then a little cinnamon. The finish has banana and an unexpected lime note.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that spreads quickly onto short-lived mottling. The nose now gains hints of maple syrup and lime juice. The body has more banana and a little less pineapple. The finish gains a little more lime.

A great dram for a rainy summer's day, to brighten up being stuck indoors.
