23 years old, distilled 20th April 1993, 55.5% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 204 bottles

The nose has hazelnut nougat, polished leather, pears and a little hint of apricot. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has lime, apples, pears and apricots. The finish has pears and cinnamon.

Water brings out thin, short-lived whorling. The nose now gains red apples, and loses the leather notes. The body gains a little cinnamon, but is still very fruity. The finish is unchanged.

A lovely dram for autumn days.
