SMWS 7.173 - Salted dark chocolateThe nose has cinnamon, apples, and herbal hints - cinnamon and fennel. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has sultanas, raisins, cinnamon, apples, fennel and star anise. The finish is cinnamon and sultanas.

Water brings out thick whorling that rapidly settles into lingering mottling. The nose gains salted caramels and loses the herbal hints. The body gains more sultanas and apples, and loses the fennel. The finish loses a little of the cinnamon, and gains apples.

A fine dram for autumnal picnics.
