The nose is soft - peaches, apricots, hints of heather and violets, and diluted pineapple juice. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has pineapple cubes, exotic wood (sandalwood? rosewood?), honey and star anise. It's aggressively strong on the alcohol! The finish is pineapple and star anise.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that dissipates quickly. The nose gains more pineapple juice and some vanilla and cinnamon, but loses the peaches and apricots. The body gains berries - raspberries and strawberries - but loses the honey notes. The finish gains hints of raspberries.
A good summer's day dram.
