The nose has "meadow fresh" fabric conditioner and hints of lime. Very quiet. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, pear, vanilla ice-cream and cinnamon. The finish has cinnamon and lemon.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains lemon and loses the fabric conditioner. There is now a hint of liquorice. The body gains more ice-cream and loses the pear. There's also more cinnamon and some hints of liquorice. The finish is unchanged.
A little too much cinnamon for me - quite a fiery dram! One for a hipflask.
Technical score: 2/5
Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
