The nose has worn leather, honeycomb, sugar dusting and hints of black pepper. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has damp cardboard, honeycomb, then black pepper smothering hints of fruit (strawberry and raspberry). The finish is sweet, with oranges and worn leather.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly quickly into brief mottling. The nose has gained red apple, strawberry and lost the worn leather somewhat. The body has gained crystallised orange and loses the black pepper somewhat. The finish loses the worn leather and gains a hint of walnut.

A very interesting dram for the fireside.
