28 years old, distilled 22nd September 1987, 55.4% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead, 246 bottles

The nose has cinnamon, walnut, peach and a hint of vanilla. The mouthfeel is thin and smooth, and a little drying. The body has cinnamon, mango, grapefruit and then dark chocolate towards the finish. Finish is cinnamon and vanilla.

Water brings out thick whorling that expands quickly and lingers for a while, but doesn't mottle. The nose becomes more floral, and the body gains a little lime. The finish is a little more tart - perhaps some orange notes?

A decent dram for dessert.
