SMWS 77.51 - Flower power shower

The nose has delicate perfume - lavender and lilac. That’s followed by some kiwi fruit and hints of pineapple. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lavender, kiwi fruit, pineapple, melon and a hint of nut. The finish has pineapple and nutty nougat.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that dissipates quickly without mottling. The nose gains more kiwi fruit and lilac, but loses some of the lavender. The body gains more pineapple and loses the melon. The finish gains more pineapple.

A decent dram with some really nice balance between the fruits and the floral notes.

One for spring afternoons.

Technical score: 4/5

Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
