77.56 - Sporran janglerThe nose has barley sugar water, old oak furniture, toffee and a hint of lemon. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has oak furniture, toffee, lemon and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is lemon and cinnamon.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains more lemon and loses the old oak furniture. The body gains more lemon and some cinnamon. The finish gains more cinnamon.

Vibrant, sweet and a little too much cinnamon for me.

One for autumn evenings.

Technical score: 3/5

Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
