9 years old, distilled 22nd June 2006, 59.9% abv, First-Fill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 234 bottles

The nose has lemongrass, elderflower, pineapple, a little lemon sherbet. Very sweet and quite delectable. The mouthfeel is thin and a little astringent. The body has more lemon and pineapple notes, and a hint of peach. The finish is lemon sherbet.

Peach develops as it sits.

Water brings out tight, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose now has less lemongrass, more sherbet. The body has a little less peach and pineapple, more lemon. The finish is unchanged.
