The nose has peaches and plums. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has peach, plum, sultanas, raisins and hints of oak furniture. The finish has sultanas and oak furniture.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains almonds and loses the plums. The body gains almonds and loses the raisins and some of the peach. The finish gains almonds and some plum.

A decent dram from an underrated distillery - this was a pleasing combination of wood and fruit.

One for autumn evenings.
