The nose has freshly cut grass, haystacks, watch oil and hints of lemon and ginger. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has lemon and then freshly cut grass, followed by machine oil and a little ginger. The finish is ginger and lemon.

Water brings out thin whorling that rapidly expands and settles into lingering mottling. The nose now gains hints of sultanas and cinnamon, and loses much of the freshly cut grass. The body gains more ginger and cinnamon. The finish loses the lemon and gains cinnamon.

A curious dram for a tasting with friends.
