The nose has lime, kiwi fruit and papaya with a little white pepper and marzipan. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has rye bread, pineapple, cherries, white pepper and menthol. The finish has white pepper and menthol with hints of papaya.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into lingering mottling. The nose gains almonds and loses the white pepper. The body gains soda water, almond and the white pepper is a little louder. The finish gains more white pepper.

Not a burning spice, but the white pepper does kind of kill it for me. A real shame, as everything else about this dram is wonderful.
