95.27 - Fizzy pudding explosionThe nose has lemon, oak resin and hints of fennel seeds. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has dustiness, greenhouses and then lemon and fennel seeds. The finish is lemon and oak resin with some greenhouse notes.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains sponge cake and loses the fennel seeds. The body gains oak resin and more lemon, and loses the dustiness. The finish gains more oak and plenty of lemon, but loses the greenhouse notes. A gradual cinnamon spice arrives as the finish dries.

Dry and earthy with a nice balance of lemon.

One for autumn afternoons.

Technical score: 3/5
