The nose has cedar wood, banana, mango and coconut. The mouthfeel is thin, with no cling. The body has all that and some sweet vanilla, then hints of unpolished oak that acts as a base on which the whole experience rests. The finish is vanilla, banana and coconut.

Water brings out thick, compact and lingering whorling that settles into lasting mottling. The nose gains more oak in the form of shavings, and then some hints of custard creams. The body also gains a little more vanilla, as well as some cinnamon. The finish moves towards mango and cedar wood.

A great dram - one for starting an evening with friends.
