SMWS G8.6 - Jazzed up banana splitThe nose has wood chippings and sawdust, butter popcorn, peach, pineapple, and a hint of gingerbread. The mouthfeel is thin, with decent cling. The body has camphor wood, peach cobbler, dried banana and soft caramel - the latter two continuing into the finish, and being joined by a hint of liquorice. The finish itself is short and sharp.

Water brings out thin, tight whorling that expands rapidly and then settles, almost mottling but not quite. The nose now has less peach, more banana and some balsa wood sawdust. The body has pastries, more dried banana, the caramel turns to toffee, and then there's hints of menthol and incense sticks. And plenty of vanilla! The finish is still caramel and banana, but now with a little vanilla.

A superb dram with a tub of popcorn for a movie - preferably on a projector outdoors in the warm sunshine!
