SMWS 2.139 - Feeling PeachyThe nose has peach, apricot, vanilla ice cream and hints of green apple. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has peaches, vanilla ice cream, green apples, and a hint of cinnamon towards the end. The finish has peaches, green apples and cinnamon with a hint of ginger.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains brown bread and more vanilla, but loses the apricot. The body gains brown bread and more cinnamon. The finish gains more cinnamon and ginger.

A delightful dram. The spice levels are low, the fruit levels high, and all is well with the world.

One for summer afternoons.

Technical score: 4.5/5
Personal preference: I’d like a bottle.
