SMWS 51.18 - There's something about EnyaThe nose is soft - mint leaves, canvas, pink grapefruit and a little florality. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has pink wafer biscuits, pink grapefruit, fresh pineapple and a hint of cinnamon. The finish has cinnamon and pink wafer biscuits.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains pineapple and lemon alongside tropical fruit flavoured bubblegum. The body gains more pineapple, some lemon and some strawberry. The finish gains pineapple and lemon.

A lovely gentle dram led by fruit and sweeties, with pleasing counterpoints. Hard to fault unless you’re wanting something forceful.

One for summer evenings.

Technical score: 4/5

Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
