The nose has lemon, lime, pancetta and a hint of nutmeg. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lime, kiwi fruit and pancetta with a little hint of cinnamon. The finish has lemon, lime and nutmeg.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains more pancetta and loses some of the lemon. The body gains more lemon, and loses the nutmeg. The finish loses the nutmeg somewhat.

A simple, straightforward dram that’s a decent balance of fruit, savoury and spice. Don’t underestimate it, it’s a session dram!
