The nose has raisins, madeira wine, cinder toffee and balsamic vinegar. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has more of the balsamic vinegar and cinder toffee, joined by peanuts and walnuts. The finish is balsamic vinegar, raisins and madeira wine.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains spiced pear and blood oranges. The body gains spiced pear and loses some of the cinder toffee. The finish gains cinnamon and has more of the madeira wine.

A great example of what sherry can do, delivering plenty of interesting flavours - but possibly a little over the top for some people.
