The nose has lime and kiwi fruits, and hints of "spring fresh" fabric conditioner (lemon, cut grass, dandelions). The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lime, lemon, kiwi fruit, and hints of ginger. The finish is gingerbread and lime.
Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles into very brief mottling. The nose gains more lime, some apricot and a hint of gorse replaces the fabric conditioner. The body gains lychee and more ginger. The finish gains more ginger and some lychee, with the lime diminished.
A decent but simple dram with good flavours and delivery.
One for summer afternoons.
Technical score: 3/5
Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
