11 years old, distilled 9th June 2004, 57.3% abv, refill ex-bourbon barrel, 235 bottles

The nose has lavender, apricot and a little herbal hint. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has vanilla, lavender, soft toffee, apricot jam and a little hint of menthol. The finish is short, with menthol and cinnamon.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that lingers as mottling for a while. The nose now has less lavender, more vanilla and cinnamon, and still has a hint of herb garden. The body has more soft toffee and menthol, less apricot and lavender. The finish is unchanged.

A decent all-day drinker, assuming you're responsible enough for such a thing.
