The nose has honeysuckle, green apples, peach melba and hints of oak shavings. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has oak shavings, peaches, pears, and a little cinnamon. The finish is short - pears and then alcohol prickle.
Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that disippates after a while without mottling. The nose gains more of the fruit - particularly the peaches - and loses the honeysuckle. The body gains more fruit and cinnamon but loses the oak shavings. As the finish arrives the cinnamon dominates.
A springtime dram - one for a long liquid lunch.
3.5 (Would have been 4 or higher if cinnamon hadn't been so prominent after water.)
