13 years old, distilled 7th June 2002, 57.2% abv, first fill ex-bourbon barrel, 235 bottles

The nose is a full, fruity experience with a little florality - green apples, peaches, apricots, then rose petals and soft vanilla hints. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has coconut, vanilla, green apples and a soft fruit note - like pineapple, but without the sharpness. Maybe dessicated banana? The finish is long, sweet with vanilla and banana.

Water brings out tight, thin, short-lived whorling. The nose now has fresh cut grass and lemongrass - and more banana. The body has pineapple juice and watermelon, then vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is banana, vanilla and pineapple.

A superb dram for when you have friends around you.
