SMWS 66.147 - A paddle on the shorelineThe nose has farmyard earthiness and lemon-scented fabric softener. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has dry earth, bonfire smoke, cloudy lemonade and brine. The finish has lemon and dry earth.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that dissipates with barely any mottling. The nose gains some old tarry ropes and some nuttiness. The body gains more lemon notes, some light engine oil and plenty of black pepper. The finish gains black pepper and engine oil.

A curious dram - light yet intense. The black pepper was not my style, but plenty will want it.

One for ending spring evenings.

Technical score: 3.5/5

Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
