12 years old, distilled 16th April 2002, 61.1% abv, refill ex-bourbon barrel, 205 bottles

The nose honey, stewed apples, peaches and a little conference pear. The body has a light and thin mouth-feel, and brings fruity and sweet flavours - fruit cocktail sweets, lime juice and apricot. The finish is sweet and long, with fruity chews and vanilla.

Water produced thick whorling, which lasted nicely. The nose now has more vanilla, less fruit - reminiscent of balsa wood, but not quite that. The body has more cinnamon and wood spices, again less fruit - some pears and apples, which continue into the finish.

A decent dram for an autumnal elevenses.
