The nose has brine, crab and a hint of fruit. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has grapefruit, smokey bacon and hints of brine and lime. The finish is brine and burnt bacon fat.
Water brings out tight thin whorling that dissipates quickly. The nose gains hints of lime and a little smoke. The body has more of the lime, and then a hint of TCP towards the finish. The finish itself gains a hint of TCP, but is otherwise unchanged.
A lovely light shoreline dram for a summer's day. (You'd barely credit that it's from this distillery though!)
