SMWS 41.80 - Classic - Barley meets oakThe nose has raisins, dark chocolate, and plenty of sherry notes - then a hint of honey. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has cedarwood, ginger, honey and a little jaffa cake. The finish is short and sweet with raisins and ginger.

Water brings out tight, short-lived whorling that settles into lingering mottling. The nose gains more raisins and loses the dark chocolate, the body gains more of the jaffa cake and ginger, but less of the cedarwood. The finish is unchanged.

A good fireside dram.
