The nose has lemon cheesecake, violet and a hint of oak shavings. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has violet and lemon, then oak shavings and a hint of honey. The finish is oak shavings and lemon.
Water brings out thin whorling that rapidly expands and dissipates quickly. The nose has more floral notes - honeysuckle? - and loses the lemon. The body has less of a oak, and more of the honey. The finish is a cinnamon roll and honey.
A very good dram - one for summer mornings.
