15 years old, distilled 14th September 1999, 54.7% abv, first fill ex-bourbon barrel, 176 bottles

The nose is a "Summer Fruits" salad - peach, apricot, mango, strawberry. There's also a little hint of cream. The mouthfeel is thin and creamy - a little cling. The body has cinnamon, camphor wood, peaches and a touch of liquorice towards the end. The finish is sweet and sharp - cinnamon, liquorice and apricot.

Water brings out thick whorling that settles quickly into short-lived mottling. The nose now has banana, and the body gains green apples. The previous flavours/scents are still there, but slightly subdued. The finish gains banana and cinnamon.

A very good dram for a hip flask.
