The nose has mango, peach, toffee and a hint of tobacco. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has a brief hit of darker fruit notes - plums, damsons - then moves onto tobacco and toffee. The finish is tobacco.
Water brings out thick whorling that rapidly expands and settles into mottling. The nose loses the toffee and gains more tobacco. The body gains cinnamon, and the finish is unchanged.
A dram for summer days when rain stops play.
