SMWS 73.77 - Bach in a briary bowerThe nose has lime and lemon juice, and hints of pot pourri. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has crystallised fruits (oranges and lemon), icing sugar and a sliver of exotic woods. The finish is short and floral.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into mottling. The nose gains more floral note - lighter ones, like buttercups and honeysuckle. The body also moves towards lighter floral notes, loses the crystallised fruits and gains ginger. The finish is drying and full of ginger.

A great dram for an aperitif.
