The nose has heather beds, beach bonfires and hints of lemon. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has burnt heather, plums, lemonade, liquorice and hints of blackberries. The finish is blackberries and bonfire smoke.

Water brings out thin, short lived whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose now has plum and lemon and a little red apple. The body also gains red apple and a little green pepper, before moving to a bigger smoke and charred oak. The finish is plum, blackberries, bonfire smoke and a hint of charred wood.

A complex dram for sharing with fellow whisky geeks.
