10 years old, distilled 19th May 2006, 52.9% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 87 bottles, dram price A

The nose has cinnamon and Danish pastries. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The palate is cinnamon and chilli, slowly building towards a mercifully short finish of the same.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into lingering mottling. The nose now gains fruit stalls and vanilla ice cream. The body gains lemon and loses (thankfully) some of the aggressive spiciness. The finish remains incredibly brief, just cinnamon and hints of lemon.

Not my style of dram due to the spice.
