The nose is a delight - rosewater, soft notes of lemon bon-bons, dried pineapple and a hint of oranges. The body has Turkish Delight, pineapple and then cinnamon and ginger heat rolls across the palate. Not too intense, but excellent. The finish has cinnamon and pineapple.
Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains Turkish Delight and loses the oranges. The body gains toffee and fudge, and more Turkish Delight. The ginger becomes more intense. The finish remains unchanged.
A superb dram - full of flavour, for long evenings with friends.
