The nose has vanilla, peanuts and sultanas. The mouthfeel is decent, with no cling. The body has fresh oak, raisins, sultanas, cinnamon and vanilla pods. The finish is cinnamon and sultanas.

Water brings out thick whorling that rapidly expands and settles into brief mottling. The nose gains wood shavings, and loses the peanuts. The body gains more vanilla and cinnamon. The finish gains cinnamon.

A very good aged rum.
