The nose has brandy snaps, caramel, and hints of cinder toffee and polished wood. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has gingerbread, orange peel, polished wood and caramel. The finish is caramel and orange peel.
Water brings out thick rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly as brief mottling. The nose now gains nutmeg and hints of gingerbread. The body has more of the caramel and polished wood, and some toffee apple. The finish is unchanged.
A lovely dram for autumnal evenings, watching a fire red sun set into fire red leaves...
