The nose is rich - toffee, spiced rum, cloves, honey and cinnamon. The mouthfeel is decent and very smooth, with a little cling. The body has more of the toffee and honey, and the spiced rum comes back towards the finish - which is cloves, cinnamon and toffee.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into decent mottling. The nose now loses some of the cloves and the spiced rum. The body gains dark chocolate and pine furniture. The finish loses the cloves and gained more cinnamon.

A decent dram for the damp spring day, possibly in a hip flask.
