The nose has brine, light sweet smoke, hints of lemon and a touch of basil. The mouthfeel is decent - smooth and a little cling. The body has more of the brine and light smoke, and some lemon and hints of red grapes. The finish is quiet - light smoke and brine.

Water brings out thin, spindly, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose now gains more basil and lemon. The body has more lemon and a little toffee. The finish gains hints of lemon.

A superb dram for the evening, just after sunset.
