The nose has peat smoke, vanilla, and a hint of ash. The mouthfeel is decent, with a little cling. The body has honey, lots of smoke and then a hint of caramel. The finish is caramel, smoke and a hint of floral notes.

Water brings out thick, compact and short lived whorling. The nose gains hints of meadow flower, and more ash. The body gains a hint of florality, but gains more ash. The finish is smokier.

A superb dram for finishing warm days.
