The nose has caramel and toffee, then grapes and hints of oranges. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has dark chocolate, bitter oranges and hints of liquorice. The finish is liquorice and heavy Seville oranges.

Water brings out thick, immediately expanding whorling that lingers for a while but never quite mottles. The nose now loses the grapes and gains dark chocolate. The body gains more liquorice. The finish is unchanged.

A great dram for dinner.
