The nose has oranges, mandarins, cinnamon and hints of an old tobacco pouch. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has mandarins, thick honey baste with cinnamon infusion, and hints of toffee. The finish is quiet with oranges and cinnamon.
Water brings out thick whorling that lingers briefly before dissipating. The nose now gains brown sugar, dark chocolate and toffee; it loses the cinnamon. The body gains some of the tobacco from the nose, and brown sugar. The finish swaps cinnamon for tobacco and dark chocolate.
An interesting dram, one to drink with dinner.
