The nose has light smoke, orange peel, sticky toffee and a hint of ash. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has more of the sticky toffee and ash. The finish has oranges, smoke and ash.

Water brings out thick, lazy whorling that expands into brief mottling. The nose now has brine, liquorice, smoke, oranges and a hint of smokey bacon. The body has smokey bacon, ash, and a hint of oranges. The finish is unchanged.

A wonderful balance of smoke, ash and oranges - to savour after a summer sunset.
