15 years old, distilled 16th February 2001, 55.4% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead, 276 bottles, dram price C

The nose has toffee, honey glaze and sea salt. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has toffee, brine, and a chilli kick. The finish is cinnamon, toffee and a hint of chilli.

Water brings out thick whorling that expands quickly then settles but never quite mottles. The nose now gains creosote hints, and honey glazed roast pork. The chilli is gone, and the pork note continues into the body and finish.

A great dram for breakfast.
