The nose has crème brulé, candy floss, and hints of honeysuckle. The mouthfeel is decent with no cling. The body has crème brulé, toffee and then black pepper towards the finish, which has crème brulé and black pepper.
Water brings out thick, short lived whorling that doesn't settle. The nose changes - leather, fruit cake and rye bread. The body has more cinnamon and vanilla, but also white pepper. The finish has white pepper that closes down my palate.
A fine dram that rides the line of my spice tolerance.
