94.6 - Making hay while the sun shinesThe nose has dry grass and hints of new oak shelves. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lime, hay, fresh oak and lemon towards the end. The finish has sharp lemon and some lime.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains more oak and some lemon. The body gains orange chew sweets and more lemon, with oak more pronounced towards the end. The finish gains new oak furniture and more lemon.

A decent, fresh young dram.

One for spring mornings.

Technical score: 3.5/5

Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
